Hank joined the operation in December of 2021 and is one of our Thoroughbreds. He raced until August 2021 and ran out over $117,000. He received some well deserved time off and has been our go to gelding for casual riding.

Hank goes well in a herd and gets along with everybody. He’s turning into a trail horse deluxe and is an absolute pet on the ground. This is the no drama bay gelding of your dreams who wants to please, he loads/bathes/clips like a champ and while not suitable at this time for an unsupervised beginner I have put my husband on him a few times for some quiet walk/trot riding. He has crossed bridges and popped happily over cross rails and would be the perfect fit for somebody looking for a horse to do a little bit of everything with - a great home is a must! We really love this guy, but we don’t have the time to move him up the levels in eventing and he’s taller than I would like for polo so there isn’t a perfect place in our program for him.

Hank was diagnosed with kissing spine in November 2024 and underwent successful surgery December 2025. He was rehabbed appropriately and has been cleared with no limitations. Hank is currently in training with Darien Cosgrove at Frowning Cactus and is excelling in cross country. No vices, has those thin TB soles so goes best in at least front shoes, but a full set on hard/ground.
