Swinging Sticks - Gator - is a one of a kind horse who is performing up to his bloodlines. He is an own son of New York’s 2015 Horse of the Year, Effinex (LTE $3,312,950), who tragically passed away after siring a single foal crop (41 live foals). His pedigree has a combined earnings of over $15million. He goes back to A.P. Indy on the top and bottom and has the fantastic hoof and bone that those Seattle Slew horses can be known for.

Gator is excelling in all three areas of eventing and recently qualified for the 2023 US Eventing Association’s Young Event Horse East Coast Championships. He finished out as one of the top ranked Thoroughbreds in the nation and his YEH qualification came with him being off the track for 7 months. The sky's the limit for this talented young horse, and we know he will make somebody the perfect partner. He is truly a horse that will only improve with age and experience who will become an automatic horse. This is the horse that anybody can ride despite his young age he is brave to the fences and very forgiving to his rider. Additionally, he’s happy to hack out on the buckle with a beginner in the saddle and never puts a step out of place. He is currently exhibiting at the Training Level with the plan to move up to Modified in 2024.
